Totally agree on the response to Sandwich. I also loved We All Want Impossible Things and then found Rocky really off-putting. Her dishonesty and then blaming others for not knowing the things she’s hidden just felt manipulative. I also found it aggravating that it was described as being in the ”sandwich generation,” who are taking care of children at the same time as taking care of parents. Rocky was doing neither--her kids were out of the house e, and her parents also still lived on their own--except for this summer vacation. But glad to hear that Wreck did not suffer from the same annoyances with Rocky--at least for you!
